V sobotu 7. 5. proběhl již 15. ročník tradičního Branného závodu pořádaného především studenty fakulty. Základna závodu se nacházela na náměstí Osvoboditelů, kde bylo vystavěno stanové městečko s využitím materiálu Polní nemocnice.
