NCS College 2025

The University of Defence, in cooperation with the National Codification Bureau of the Czech Republic, will host the 7th edition of the international codification courses, known worldwide as the NCS College (NATO Codification System College), from 25 August to 12 September 2025.

Since its establishment in 2012, this academy has become the largest national training centre in the world within the codification community, which officially includes nearly 70 countries. To date, it has trained more than 170 specialists from 33 nations. These participants prepare biennially in courses designed for managers and logisticians, as well as for codifiers engaged in specialised cataloguing activities in the armed forces. Their training at the NCS College is conducted on the actual codification-support software MC CATALOGUE, developed and implemented by the Brno-based company AURA, the academy’s general partner. This codification information system is currently the most widely used in the world.

This year’s courses successfully enrolled students from NATO/NAEW, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Chile, Japan, Singapore, Ireland, Qatar, Oman, Thailand, Turkey, Georgia, and Ukraine.

In addition to logistics lecturers from the University of Defence and experts from AURA, the training will be led by moderators and instructors who have spent a significant part of their professional careers in prominent national and international codification positions.

Graduates will receive a certificate of completion, signed by the Rector-Commandant of the University of Defence, which is recognised across all member nations of the NATO Codification System.
